Introducing BASE: Revolutionising Battery Supply Chains with the Digital Battery Passport (DBP)
We are excited to invite you to our first Project webinar, 'Introducing BASE: Revolutionising Battery Supply Chains with the Digital Battery Passport (DBP)'. Join us to learn how BASE is transforming battery supply chains through transparency, resilience, and circular economy principles. This session will offer insights into the Digital Battery Passport and its role in advancing sustainable practices across the battery lifecycle.
BASE stands for the Battery Passport for Resilient Supply Chain and Implementation of Circular Economy. The primary objective of the BASE project is to design, validate, and deploy a functional Digital Battery Passport (DBP) service, as required by the EU Regulation. This goal will be met by harnessing data from a range of dynamic tools and methodologies, providing a transparent, secure, and cost-effective platform that also drives the development of circular economy businesses.
BASE is a 3-year long project being under the call ”HORIZON-CL5-2023-D2-02-03: Creating a digital passport to track battery materials, optimise battery performance and life, validate recycling, and promote a new business model based on data sharing (Batt4EU Partnership).” This project has received funding from the Horizon Europe Framework Programme (HORIZON) Research and Innovation Actions under grant agreement No 101157200.
